The Photogenic PLR625DRC 250W/s PowerLight Monolight with PocketWizard Receiver (UV) offers speed, power and control, a wide choice of accessories and intuitive operation backed by impressive specs at a very reasonable price.
What good is a light if it keeps you in the dark? The PLR625DRC keeps you fully informed of your power levels via its large highly readable digital display. Power settings are adjustable in 1/10 or � stop increments across 6 stops. The modeling light can be set to Proportional to let you pre-visualize your final shot when using multiple lights. Other settings include Full On, OFF and manual control of the modeling light output.
The PLR625DRC recycles to full power in a lightning-fast 1.2 seconds with short flash durations that help you stop every gesture, an attribute which is extremely valuable when working with kinetic subjects like dancers or athletes. The included UV color-corrected flash tube renders accurate skin tones and prevents blue from creeping in to the color balance. The built-in PocketWizard radio receiver allows you to avoid a tangle of PC cords by wirelessly triggering your flash from up to 1,600' feet away if necessary. Using the built-in receiver requires purchase of a PocketWizard transmitter.
Other convenience features include a test button, optical slave and integral handle. The PLR625DRC comes with a 7.5" reflector and is compatible with a wide range of optional accessories including grids, snoots, parabolic reflectors, softboxes and umbrellas.

- Built-In Slave
- This version of the PLR625DRC has a built-in PocketWizard wireless radio receiver that allows you to do away with sync cords. Just slip the PocketWizard transmitter (purchased separately) into your camera's hot shoe and trigger your flash from up to 1,600' feet away. A highly sensitive, switchable optical slave for synchronization with other flashes is also built in
